Skype offers extremely low-cost internet phone rates that allow you to call anywhere in the world - from your computer - for just pennies a minute.
It even includes a keypad feature in the "Call Phones" section so you can dial in the access number of the conference call.
How to Set It Up
Open the Skype program and go to the "Skype" tab at the left-hand top of the page (it's just to the left of "Contacts").
From the menu choices given, select "Buy Skype Credit."
You can buy telephone time in $10 USD increments, paying in advance so you can just get on the call without having to worry about running out of time or money if you set it up to automatically renew when your credit drops below $2.
How to Use It
Phone in three minutes (or less) before the time we start.
Once you dial the number from the "Call Phones" section of Skype, wait until the conference call system prompts you to key in your access code.
Be sure to keep your access code handy, to dial in once you've reached the conference call line.
Follow the prompts from there, and you’ll be connected to the call for just pennies a minute!
